What You'll Do

Reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) - IT, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly and quarterly financial results for IT while supporting the creation of the annual plan / quarterly forecasts.

You will be customer focused, as you will be the direct finance contact for several portfolios within the IT group.


  • Work with IT groups across all business units to develop monthly / quarterly reporting supported by meaningful analysis on key variances
  • Develop expert knowledge and be the subject matter expert of IT financial results
  • Assist in the production of the annual capital and operating expense budget for IT
  • Partner with the business to design and prepare new analysis to respond to Senior Management and business needs
  • Assist in the production of the quarterly capital and operating expense forecasts for IT
  • Support the continuous improvement of the financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes within the team to improve efficiency and quality
  • Work with cross functional groups to drive improvements and changes to current processes / systems
  • Lead a variety of ad hoc projects as assigned by the Manager
  • Qualifications

  • University degree or College diploma in Finance / Accounting or business related discipline
  • Accounting designation (CPA - CA, CGA,CMA) or working towards obtaining
  • 5 to 7 years working in a FP&A role
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Solid understanding of financial statements
  • Able to work well in a fast paced team environment
  • Previous experience with an IT organization is considered an asset
  • Previous experience with PeopleSoft GL and / or Hyperion is considered an asset
