Orion is seeking a highly motivated and career minded individual to join their team as Product Manager Travel Insurance for Retail with Partner Clubs and Employee Benefits.
In this critical leadership role, you will develop a solid understanding of the travel insurance industry for both Retail and Employee Benefits.
Key to this rile is the analysis of data, and metrics of current travel insurance behavior along with an understanding of the drivers of purchase patterns, portfolio management, engagement, and loyalty.
You will work closely with Partner Clubs, Underwriting and Actuarial resources to perform necessary product analysis to ensure the current or proposed new innovative products are competitively priced based on consumer and market needs and measure the effect the product and pricing would have on overall demand, revenue and profitability.
You will closely monitor results (sales, revenue and profitability) by channel and collaborate with Corporate Marketing and Distribution to make real-
time adjustments to campaigns, Member offers and on an on-going basis to ensure all relevant business targets are achieved.
You will lead the development of the annual travel insurance product and pricing plan for your distribution partners including outlining major tactical initiatives that will drive new business growth, Member / Customer retention and profitability of your portfolios.
As a successful candidate you will hold a University Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related discipline. You will hold 6-
9 years of relevant business experience in Product Management, strategic planning and financial services or insurance industry experience.
This is complimented by your recent people management experience in a High Performance culture. You will have exceptional analytical and strategic skills, financial acumen, as well as excellent communication skills to influence and engage others.
You will also have solid leadership skills, responsible for leading a small sized team of direct reports. Bilingualism is an asset.
