Job Summary

The Licensed Journeyman (Millwright) is involved in providing a safe, functional and aesthetically pleasing hospital environment by inspecting, renovating, repairing and maintaining the buildings, grounds, engineering systems, equipment and furnishings

Qualifications

Licensed Millwright

Provincial or other vocational / professional certification or degree : certificate of qualification in trade.

Minimum Grade 12

Special skills or training needed to perform the job or operate equipment.

Minimum two years experience required.

Previous hospital experience an asset.

Experience in Hospital Bed Repairs an Asset

Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal

Demonstrated problem assessment skills

Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork

Demonstrated individual leadership skills
