MAINTENANCE MECHANIC FULL-TIME

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing general and specific mechanical maintenance routines in the building (throughout our distribution center and Head office).

This position could progress from general maintenance duties to specific skilled responsibilities based on candidate's previous training and education.

WORKING HOURS :

Employees will be scheduled 40 hours per week and must be available to work a flexible schedule, Monday through Sunday. Split shifts, Day shifts, Afternoon shifts, and Nights may be required for selected periods of time to perform some maintenance tasks.

Some overtime may be requested.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Previous experience operating mobile pallet moving equipment (rider jack), sit-down counterbalance or a forklift is an asset.

Training will be provided.

Previous mechanical experience is an asset.

Strong mechanical aptitude to work on general building infrastructure and / or equipment / conveyor.

Demonstrated ability to complete tasks on time and to work with minimal supervision.

A team player with a positive attitude.

Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
