You will work under the supervision of the Deputy Head Teaching and Learning, as well as in close collaboration with the Proviseur Adjoint’ -
French studies , the four branches principals and the two others Directors.Your main responsibility will be to lead the planning and implementation of curriculum as well as in their monitoring and evaluation.
This position requires high availability. Objectives
Ensure the implementation of programmes, within the framework of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP)
Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning
Implement both initiatives and best practices which will improve the learning experiences offered to our students as well as encourage academic ambition
Share with teachers the best practices, acting as a role model, in order to help them grow in their profession
Organize and supervise the teachers’ professional improvement in line with the school’s policy
Drive the implementation of the procedure on student progress
Supervise the development of the junior school’s evaluation policy along with its relevant procedures ensuring they are best practices
Manage student progress and communicate the relevant information to the concerned staff members so that they can support the students in their academic aspirations
Adapt an educational training watch allowing the school to remain informed on all recent educational topics
Participate in recruiting teaching staff

The Proviseur Adjoint’ - French studies for the implementation of French programs and the animation of the junior school senior school council.
The Director of Teaching and Learning of junior school (Grade 1 to grade 6) and Secondary School (Director of curriculum) in order to ensure continuity of learning, ensure coherence of actions undertaken, develop strategies to improve the quality of teaching and learning and evaluate the impact of their implementation
The Executive Director of Innovation and Technologies to ensure the effective use of new instructional technologies
The Director of the Learning Forum to support teachers in developing practices that support the learning of students with special needs and lead to the progress of all students
Departement coordinators, for the development of teaching tools and materials
Teachers for the implementation of curriculum in compliance with the various policies in force in the school.

Solid knowledge of the French curriculum of the French National Education, the Ontarian programs and PYP

Developed interpersonal skills and openness of mind
Bilingual (French and English). Some of the teachers are English-speaking so you must have a B2 level as a minimum (Writing and speaking)
Strong IT skills
Be a school teacher and postgraduate studies in education (Master level or equivalent); holding a CAFIPEMF’ would be an additional asset
