An Email Marketing Consultant is responsible for building & managing email automation and communications for the business and our global cannabis brands.

Specifically, the position will play a key role in building the CRM strategy then executing that plan to drive website traffic, brand engagement and purchase.
The individual should have strong digital design skills and be able to be very hands-on in developing email communications.
Build out compelling, data-driven customer journeys across the home service professional lifecycle via marketing automation and nurture campaigns.
Create, develop, write, design and deploy promotional and transactional emails. Driving revenue / conversion through launch and then ongoing support.

Database growth finding ways to grow emailable (Recreational / Medicinal / Investor) database across all markets.
Manage the email communication calendar.
Create and manage dynamic and static lists for customer email communications.
Work with agency to build and manage the email preferences centre, implementing legally compliant email opt-in strategy and process flows.
Be thought leader as a source of information for email compliance (ie. CASL, GDPR, etc).
Create, execute and monitor marketing campaigns to support the ongoing work of the B2B marketing team.
Conduct campaign level quality assurance and A / B testing.
Lead scoring and grading personalization of journeys based on readiness to proceed in an automation platform.
Build reporting templates and report to management regularly on performance.
Manage the creation of B2B newsletters, email marketing / nurture campaigns, landing pages, and marketing collateral for the sales team.
Work closely with Website manager to ensure email experience to the website is seamless customer experience with strong tracking.
Ensure the overall look and feel of the emails are aligned with Corporate vision and company brands including public relations, communications and commercial activities.
Applicants with 3-5 years of email marketing campaign experience will only be considered / may only apply.
University Degree or relevant experience in a marketing or related field.
Ability to take marketing concepts / requirements and translate them into marketing automation programs.
Qualitative and quantitative analytical capabilities, with an outstanding body of work demonstrating high quality, innovative deliverables and an exceptional understanding of consumer behaviour.
High attention detail, ensuring campaigns are properly configured so only the right audiences receive the right information.
Experience with Landing Page Optimization (LPO) and HTML a plus.
Able to self-direct and motivate, working independently to build out a program.
Creative, passionate, and problem solving-focused mind.
Demonstrated ability to manage the creative and messaging process.
Highly developed communication & relationship skills.
Experience working with global partners.
Ability to grow and maintain effective working relationships across the business to ensure on-time project delivery.
Canadian consumer knowledge to drive content development and adaptation.
Familiarity with the cannabis industry.
