What is the Opportunity?

The Risk Analyst position is accountable for the administration and tracking of all risk initiatives being carried out by and for TI teams.

They will provide administrative and analytical support for risk initiatives ensuring proper tracking and reporting process and tools are in place, and are working effectively to provide a concise view of the current risk posture.

They will support the Risk Advisors and Risk Managers in providing risk consulting services to the teams.

What will you do?

  • Maintains Risk dashboards
  • Tracks and reports on the implemented risk controls
  • Conducts targeted and specific risk awareness training as required to all levels of staff in various TI teams
  • Maintains documentation on Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRAs), IIPM inventories (application information database), Risk Findings and Acceptance / Remediation, and Access Management Reporting
  • Participate in Quantitative Risk Assessments maintenance across various TI teams by ensuring information is properly integrated into appropriate dashboards and reports
  • Effectively communicates with team members, stakeholders and business partners during assignments
  • Facilitates small meetings and conducts small cross- functional interviews as required.
  • What do you need to succeed?


  • Post-Secondary Degree preferably in finance or technology
  • One or more years’ experience in IT
  • One or more years’ experience in one or more core services in Information Security / Risk Management
  • Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge of RBC’s hardware and software systems
  • Skills in software development using Python, JavaScript etc.
