HERE'S THE PLAN

Reporting to the Director of Loss Prevention, the Loss Prevention Analyst will provide support to the team while performing the following tasks :

Main responsibilities

  • Generating exceptional reports and evaluating database queries
  • Analyzing and reviewing data to identify potentially fraudulent activity
  • Cross referencing data with other LP tools such as camera surveillance
  • Preparing all fraud dossiers for investigation
  • Analyzing employee sales transactions to detect fraud among employee purchases
  • Analyzing and detecting fraudulent gift card activations
  • Providing confidential information to various Law Enforcement agencies as needed (e.g., camera surveillance footage)
  • Managing the LP inbox and providing tier 1 support to store level employees and the Customer Service team
  • Identifying, sorting and replying to all messages received : Cash discrepancies Missing items Gift Card issues POS issues Other
  • Enforcing LP best practices / LP tip of the week
  • Assigning Head Office access cards for new employees and managing all temp cards given out
  • Assisting the LP team with various administrative tasks as needed
  • Drafting and communicating all LP memos
  • Job Requirements

  • Minimum college level education;
  • Strong analytical skills and prior experience as an Analyst
  • Experience in customer service, preferably in retail;
  • Prior experience with camera surveillance systems and LP procedures;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (French and English mandatory) ;
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Professional and discrete.
