OES Six Sigma Program Manager
The Opportunity :
The OES SS Program Manager will focus on Six Sigma (SS) integration with technical solutions to improve process problem solving capability.
You will partner with IS and represent Operations to deliver end to end infrastructure solutions at our Manufacturing sites.
The OES SS Program Manager will undertake proposals and plan budget, resources and detailed project plan for the delivery of projects in close cooperation with the business objectives.
A snap shot of some of the exciting things you will lead and do :
Manage projects from the idealization stage all the way to implementation and partner closely with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Develop technical solutions in conjunction with Corporate IS to proactively identify issues before they are raised by stakeholders.
Liaise with MLF IS Innovation, Engineering and other key internal stakeholders to support the smooth implementation of Operational Excellence (OpEx) solutions.
Drive productivity and efficiency improvements across the MLF manufacturing sites i.e. technology platforms, operating procedures, etc.
Support the delivery of capital, maintenance and operational projects delivered in the regions where applicable with the local teams.
Provide regular reporting updates on individual projects and the operational excellence program.
Understand and support execution of site objectives. Assist with the identification and quantification of Critical Business Needs (CBN) and primary opportunities for improvement.
Conduct business case and risk analysis as required. Provide CI Project Management support utilizing DMADV / PDCA framework.
Provide Leadership and Coaching support for Diagnostic and Lean events at Manufacturing sites.
Research and apply functional best practices within project scope.
Provide Coaching on Six Sigma, Lean and OpEx methodology & tools.
Ensure sustainable results through application of change management and pragmatic control plans.
Understanding and supporting functional objectives and strategies.
Assisting with the identification and quantification of major opportunity areas, including the re-application of learning across MLF.
Interface with management team at plant.
Must be open to coaching and actively learn within the role.
Periodic travel may be required for training or project work.

What you will bring :
University degree (BSc., Computer Science, Engineering or Operations Management).
Minimum 5 to 8 years of full-time work experience depending on level of responsibility; experience in manufacturing systems, SAP, visual management, or other transactional functions an asset.
Program management experience with scoping, leading, and delivering moderately complex projects including Capital projects.
Comprehensive working knowledge of the contract’s management in relation to the provision of services to a site, including the related service level agreements and key performance indicators.
Track record of delivering winning results.
Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills including application of process improvement and quality tools.
Lives the value of getting things done in a fact-based way.
Strong communication skills. Ability to communicate well (verbal and written) with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
Ability to work in a team base environment and at Manufacturing sites.
Proficient in Excel and other MS Office 365 apps, MS Power BI, SAP, enterprise solutions.
Moderate knowledge of overall automation especially PLCs.
Demonstrated ability to effect change through influence.
Has led and / or coached prior continuous improvement projects. Considered a strong coach on continuous improvement concepts.
Experience in leading complex projects that require strong leadership, initiative, and change management would be an asset.
Previous experience with Six Sigma tools and methodology is a requirement.
Demonstrated ability to implement and teach Lean Methodologies and Operational Excellence.
