Reporting to the Manager of Business Strategy Development, the Senior Strategy Manager owns the profit & loss (P&L) and Premier Sales Organization (PSO) strategic roadmap.

Execute from sales operation reporting by driving the standardization and alignment of national channel development. They lead strategic channel profitability programs nationally across the Loyalty, Sales, and Support (LSS) organization focused on the Mid-

Market Small (MMS) segment.

The Sales Operations team within LSS organization drive sales process efficiencies, own the operational enablement of on-

shore & off-shore customer facing teams, manage the execution of regional marketing strategies, develop sales transformation training, define the harmonized P&L and PSO roadmap, and perform long term planning and strategy development.

  • Develop the MMS P&L strategy and roadmap for TELUS Business Solutions (TBS) : Support the design and development of the MMS P&L scorecard and reporting model Lead, develop, and monitor strategic initiatives per P&L results by fostering relationships and driving outcomes across key TBS stakeholder groups Directly influence program and pricing direction of MMS go-
  • to-market (GTM) plans to benefit P&L results Support monthly strategic reviews with the MMS Executive Leadership team

  • Prioritize and drive key channel transformation strategies to standardize our approach nationally : Develop PSO best practices aligned to the dynamics of the SMB market with direct consideration of business priorities and time-
  • to-market Standardize sales process and programs across sales support & channel facing teams Support territory planning initiatives Influence the standardization and optimization of SMB GTM strategies by working closely with the National Product & Marketing organizations of TBS representing MMS in New Products & Services Introduction (NPSI) readiness initiatives

  • Lead the development of revenue enhancement and cost reduction initiatives across the MMS organization including business case development, stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, project management, and measurement / evaluation
  • Own the facilitation and management of MMS Sales Operations reporting & planning inclusive of operational key performance indicator (KPI) score carding, yearly planning, Executive Leadership team reporting and long-
  • term strategy development

  • Superior leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and synthesis skills and proven ability to turn information into insight and present recommendations to senior leadership
  • Well-developed presentation and storytelling abilities and able to craft clear, concise, and compelling presentations
  • Takes ownership, initiative, and is self-directed and able to effectively manage ambiguity and change
  • Extensive experience with problem solving frameworks to breakdown and simplify complex, ambiguous problems
  • Able to effectively engage stakeholders to establish cross functional alignment for projects and initiatives
  • Comfort and experience in working within evolving environments and driving business transformation
  • 5+ years of consulting and / or business analysis experience
  • Great-to-haves

  • Exceptional business and financial acumen and strong understanding of telecommunications business models
  • Expert-level proficiency in the use of Microsoft (MS) Excel & PowerPoint
