Back in Motion is seeking a full-time permanent PHYSICAL THERAPIST to work in our Vancouver clinic.
Work Schedule : Day Shifts, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hrs / week. 3 days OR2 / ASTD, 2 days Private Practice Physiotherapy
Hourly Median Rate : $40.00 (compensation will depend on experience)
Programs and Services : WSBC Programs (OR2 and ASTD) and Private Practice Physiotherapy (caseload requires experience in Vestibular Rehabilitation and IMS)
The clinical duties in the OR2 and ASTD programs include evidence-based assessment and rehabilitation services. The Physical Therapist will work in a multi-disciplinary team which includes Occupational Therapists, Physicians, Kinesiologists, Psychologists / Clinical Counsellors and Case Managers.
OR2 / ASTD Responsibilities and Duties
Clinical assessments, developing and providing treatment plans for clients
Providing ongoing evaluation of client progress
Administering and gathering information regarding outcomes
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives
Communicating to appropriate referral sources and stakeholders
Engaging in continuous learning and skills development
Participate in and adhere to CARF related requirements
Work in a multi-disciplinary clinical setting which includes Occupational Therapists, Physicians, Kinesiologists, Psychologists / Clinical Counselors and Case Managers
Other work as assigned
Health Services Private Practice
Varied caseload that includes sports injuries, recreational injuries, work and MVA injuries, and vestibular rehabilitation
Increases in compensation over time, in thanks for staying a dedicated member of our team
Monthly evidence-based research bulletins, Quarterly clinical workshops and ongoing mentorship as desired
Fully equipped rehab gym and private treatment rooms with hi-lo tables and charting room with online exercise prescription software
All clinics equipped with mechanical traction, ultrasound, IMS, and shockwave therapy modalities.
The successful candidate will have excellent clinical, interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize with a focus on customer service
At least 2 years of concussion, vestibular rehab, and / or active holistic rehabilitation experience
Energetic team player who is registered with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia, and at least 3 years of clinical experience.
Related experience in areas of vocational rehabilitation, musculoskeletal, Active Rehab / Exercise Therapy, Pain Management or Mental Health would be an asset.
Gunn IMS certification
In clinic training / mentorship and continuing education funding is provided.
