The role :
To create, maintain and distribute all marketing material for Vancity Investment Management. This includes print, digital, decks, events, social and any other outreach medium to attract, retain and grow our client base.
A typical day would involve :
Design, coordinate, prepare and distribute marketing and communication materials in order to meet business needs.
Maintain and update all marketing material to ensure information is relevant and accurate.
Create, update and maintain content across digital platforms (vcim.com, blog, digital signage, social channels) so that content is well written and aligned with brand tone of voice and standards.
Organize from start to finish client events, from venue selection, invitation creation and distribution through to event execution and follow up.
Lead the development of actionable marketing processes and metrics.
Create, track, measure, and report on success of marketing campaigns ROI and KPIs.
Gather data from multiple sources and conducts analysis of digital marketing and direct marketing member contact channel performance and trends.
Researches and analyzes trends in the Wealth Management industry and HNW marketplace to determine the appropriate.
You Have :
Minimum of 3 years of marketing and communications experience.
Post secondary degree or diploma in either Marketing, Communications, Business or Finance.
Ability to translate complex financial terms into easily digestible, client friendly marketing material.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated skills in communication, research and writing and in managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Superior knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Use and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is an asset.
Bonus Points, if you have :
Completion of relevant industry designations, ex. Canadian Securities Course would be considered an asset.
Experience in the financial services industry.
