This distinguished distribution center is currently seeking a Material Handler for both contract and long term positions within their company.

Responsibilities and duties will include but not be limited to the following :

  • Loading of products into trailers using sit-down forklift
  • Receiving of products using sit-down forklift
  • Preparing proper documentation for shipments
  • Verifying documentation upon receipt of shipments
  • Communicating with other team members regularly to ensure safe and accurate placement of product
  • Loading and unloading rail cars with chemical products
  • Analyzing documents to ensure accuracy

  • Qualifications

  • Shipping and receiving
  • WHMIS Certification
  • Forklift Experience, sit-down counter balance, electric and propane (certification would be an asset)
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Team player
  • Driver's license an asset but not required
