Job Level

CL-04Your role will be to manage part of a subset of sales and operational activities using your skills to make quality decisions and optimize work processes.

You are responsible for the service offer and for developing and implementing the action plan. Your aptitudes for developing talent and focusing on results allow you to efficiently manage people and performance, oversee reporting, and ensure member and client satisfaction.

You are responsible for a team handling commercial property and casualty insurance exclusively. The risk complexity of renewals ranges from moderate to complex.

The team also works closely with the division's other units.

General Information on the Position

Main responsibilities

Support the immediate supervisor by helping with work organization and operational planning for the unit

Develop, implement and track the unit's action plan, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic orientations and other administrative units, in a performance management context

Establish management and communication practices that support change management, talent attraction and retention, skills development, employee engagement, and diversity in keeping with Desjardins values

Define and ensure the implementation of activities related to the unit's services to maximize targeted business results and ensure member and client satisfaction

Support the administrative unit's action plan by successfully managing individual and team performance

Promote Desjardins Group's cooperative values

Continuously improve the management of processes under your responsibility.

Other working conditions

Workplace : Position located in Quebec CRC, Lévis or Montreal, depending on the applicant selected. The work arrangement for the position is hybrid work #LI-Hybrid

Number of jobs available : 1


Bachelor's degree in a related field

A minimum of six years of a relevant experience

Experience in commercial property and casualty insurance

Experience in team management (a major asset)

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

Hold the representative's certificate in Commercial-lines Damage Insurance Autorité des marchés financiers

For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required

Specific knowledge

Proficiency in using the PCS system (an asset)

Independent speaker, upper intermediate knowledge of English (an asset)
