We’re hoping that person is you! We’re looking for a Claims Supervisor to lead our Auto Support team.

  • WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Report to the Manager, Injury Claims.
  • Training and development of BI claim adjusters.
  • Review files and provide settlement authority.
  • Monitor monthly reports for reserving accuracy and audit files as required.
  • Stay current on industry trends and case law.
  • Maintain workflow, production and performance expectations.
  • Promote claims handling practices that provide fair and equitable outcomes.
  • Ensure claims handling practices adhere to legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a continuous focus on our member value proposition of operational and service excellence and respond to customer concerns in a timely manner.
  • Ensure consistent collaboration with the other Injury Managers, Injury supervisors and other claims leadership teams.
  • Adhere to Claims Policy Procedures and Injury Guidelines.
  • Champion innovative ways to maintain and improve employee engagement.
  • WHAT YOU'VE DONE

  • You have CIP or FCIP Designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada.
  • You have a minimum 10 years experience handling Bodily Injury and Liability files.
  • You have experience in coaching and mentoring under your belt.
  • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and litigation file handling is essential.
  • Bonus points if you have supervisory experience in any injury claims environment.
