Role Impact :
To provide dispatch communication to Security Guards to incidents, requests for assistance, emergencies, etc., and log details of radio transmission, telephone calls and verbal instructions, and to direct back-up support as necessary
What you will deliver :
Dispatch Security Guards to incidents, requests for assistance, emergencies, etc.
Remain completely knowledgeable of the geographic layout and all life support systems and procedures in effect for the property
Maintain control of access to and from the property
Log details of radio transmission, telephone calls and verbal instructions
Direct back-up support as necessary
Inform management of major incidents
Assist in maintenance of Card Index System
Maintain the Camera Surveillance System
Conduct security equipment audits
Be responsible for Fire Alarm Monitoring and Response
Maintain key control, lost and found logs and emergency contact lists
Perform other duties as assigned
What your strengths are :

A current CPR / First Aid certification an asset
What you need to succeed :
A valid provincial Security License (if required by law)
A Security Diploma or equivalent
A minimum one 1-2 years of security experience
A working knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act
Knowledge of Trespass to Property Act
