Reporting into the Senior Manager, National Logistics & Administration , the National Logistics Administrator is responsible for providing administration support and to the manager and Logistics staff that manage all Wineries and Warehouse locations both owned and 3rd Party Warehouses

We are looking for a teammate with :

  • Post Secondary education in Finance / Accounting or Business Administration preferred
  • Logistics / Warehouse experience is preferred
  • Ability to work with pace and manage multiple time-sensitive and competing priorities.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor (e.g., based on large data sets, evidence generation, insights)
  • Key attention to process improvement, optimization, risk management, and budget management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy skills (Excel, Word, Inventory Management systems.
  • Previous certification in WHMIS, TDG and equipment operation an asset.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and pay attention to detail.
  • Ability to communication with a wide variety of individuals; hence excellent interpersonal skills are essential
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organized work area
  • This teammate will be accountable for :

  • Processes and validates all invoices Nationally for Logistics to Accounts Payable
  • Direct contact for Accounts Payable for National Logistics expenses, addressing payment issues and concerns for all invoices
  • Works and maintains a direct line of communication with all 3rd Party Warehouse related to invoices, expenses and credits that have direct impact to Budget
  • Track and trend all expense Nationally for Logistics and highlight areas of concern to plan
  • Trend distribution costs and provide KPI report to Sales, minimum orders, rush cost and surcharge updates
  • Complete all API (Andrew Peller Import) receiving's and transfers at 3rd Party Warehouse
  • Provide all press releases from 3rd Party Warehouse to appropriate APL team members
  • Distribute all delivery schedules to both Sales and NCCC
  • Collaboratively works with APL Finance Team under the direction of National Logistics Lead to address any concerns or issues as it relates to the Budget
  • Process, tracks and monitors all purchase orders of supplies for the Logistics Team Nationally
  • Support Logistics Team Nationally with Payroll administration
  • Complete all on boarding and new hires paperwork for Logistics Teams
  • Follow up on all Oracle incident logs for the team
  • Complete report on Key Logistics Performance Metrics including cost and service
  • Develop presentations, score cards and metrics templates to support the team in the performance goals internally and externally
  • Maintain and track all 3rd Party Logistics contracts, effective dates, deadlines, and expired terms
  • Track and provide all documentation for physical counts to Finance
  • Back up and contact point for National Logistics Lead
  • Track all Write Downs and progress from start to finish for Logistics Team
  • Adheres to all safety policies and procedures
  • Consistently provides and strives for excellent internal and external Customer Service
  • Follows safe work procedures and practices and reports all unsafe working conditions / hazards to their reporting Manager
