The Sales and Marketing team is responsible for driving growth from new clients and marketing Diamond as a top tier agency to the industry.

The team is led by a founding partner, with big ambitions to elevate Diamond as the go to shop in Canada. Part of our growth plans include expanding into the US.

The Sales and Marketing Director will be responsible for collaborating on the sales and marketing strategy, championing the plan within the agency, and executing with excellence.

The Sales and Marketing Director will use their knowledge of the Canadian advertising industry and relationships to achieve the objectives set by the organization.

This position will report to the SVP, Growth and work with a variety of stakeholders across key positions in the agency.


  • Collaborate and build on the existing sales and marketing plan
  • Lead the execution of the Sales and Marketing plan
  • Create and manage the Sales and Marketing Scorecard to track real time performance
  • Test a variety of tactics to learn high return on investment activities
  • Work with internal departments at the agency, to brief and deliver sales and marketing activities including : Creative ideas that get international attention, thought leadership content, awards submissions etc.
  • Ownership of Diamond owned channels (LinkedIn, web, Instagram) and develop and execute a content plan
  • Represent the company with the SVP of growth at key industry events
  • Write press releases and target key industry trades
  • Build relationships with industry trades
  • Market research on new categories and entrants coming to the Canadian market
  • Contribute to building a case study library to better document the agencies work
  • Lead / Steer / Contribute to RFP responses and submissions
  • Ownership of RFP subscription services to mine potential opportunities
  • Manage inbound leads that come through the agency
  • Proactively bring new ideas forward that contribute to the success of the Sales and Marketing team

  • Minimum of 5 years in the Marketing and Advertising Industry
  • Passionate individual who can motivate teams to deliver
  • Outgoing personality, infectious enthusiasm for growth
