ParcelPal is looking for a Station Manager!

We are looking for highly motivated , organized , and reliable individuals to join our team and oversee our delivery operations! This is an opportunity to be part of a growing, publicly-traded technology and logistics company.

This is a full time , permanent position averaging 40 hours per week. We operate 7 days per week so there is room for some flexibility with respect to days and hours.

Your time is yours to manage as long as you can get the job done!

Additional availability may be required particularly during the holiday season.

Duties Include :

• Taking responsibility for the weekly schedule


• Performance management , onboarding, training, and coaching drivers

• Overseeing dispatchers and working with them to ensure optimal delivery success

• Capacity management , ensuring the availability of staff and vehicles, to cover all shifts

• Ensuring vehicles are in working condition

• Working alongside management to determine the root cause of damages and preventative measures

• Transporting vehicles for maintenance and liaising with vendors to coordinate pickup and drop off

• Building relationships with vendors and reducing maintenance costs

• Ensuring vehicles have appropriate insurance and are being renewed as needed

• Managing conflicts and accidents should they arise.

  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must possess a valid class drivers license
  • Minimum age : 21
  • Excellent interpersonal skills : ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, and coworkers.
  • Must be tech-savvy.
  • Perform a criminal background check and
  • Consent to a drug test
  • Strong geographic knowledge of the surrounding area.
  • Must be coachable and have a willingness to continue training and upgrade skills relating to fleet management.
  • Excellent English, both oral and written communication skills required .
  • Knowledge of stress management , conflict resolution , team leadership and sense of comradery are essential to your success in this position.
  • Demonstrated the ability to work independently and as part of a team .
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail .
  • Ideal Candidates will have :

  • Leadership experience in building and managing a team
  • Some automotive background , specifically in fleet management and vehicle maintenance
  • Preferably 2 years of work experience in operations or logistics
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office 360 and other Office related tech.
  • Familiarity with Employment Standards / Ministry of Transportation policies and regulations .
