In this role your day will be spent :

  • Leading our records management and the operation the Benefits & Employee Information (BEI) department create increased efficiency of data acquisition and reporting.
  • Crafting quality and process improvement practices and procedures
  • Ensuring we meet operational, legislative, collective agreement and benefit plan requirements.
  • Design reports for assigned projects and development business case reports and project plans.
  • Supervises and provides direction to designated staff by providing expert advice, leadership and mentorship.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Human Resources) or related field
  • five (5) to seven (7) years' experience including supervisory experience in systems related functions in Human Resource / Labour Relations / Benefits Administration within a large, complex environment
  • Proficiencies :

    Demonstrates the LEADS capabilities of Leads Self, Engages Others, Achieves Results, Develops Coalitions and supports Systems Transformation.

    Professional / Technical Capabilities :

  • Working knowledge of applicable regulations, legislation and collective agreements.
  • Advanced proficiency in the use of computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Access query and report writing.
  • Proficiency with database and interface environments (e.g. Meditech and Boston Workstation).
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • This full-time position is available immediately based in New Westminster, BC, with access to rapid transit, shopping and restaurants.
