key responsibilities and duties

The Sales & Operations Planning Analyst manages cross-functional processes with a focus on in-season execution between Product (MP&A) and DCs.

Working in a collaborative environment, this operations-focused role gets into the details and plays a critical role ensuring product flows efficiently between DCs, stores, and third-

party vendors. Managing multiple priorities and project timelines, the S&OP Analyst ensure deadlines are met and demonstrates critical thinking to guide strategic initiatives successfully through execution.

  • Partner with stakeholders to coordinate projects and key initiatives with a focus on Product inventory and DC impacts, while maintaining a consistency of practice across DCs
  • Facilitate and participate in varied cross-functional discussions, providing a shared Product & DC perspective with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Manage processes and support business requests including but not limited to : outbound forecasting, PO prioritization, DC-
  • DC transfers, product rework / VAS, DC inventory rebalancing, product customization, store-to-DC pullbacks

  • Create tools and processes to aid in inventory optimization and cost efficiency
  • Refine and maintain daily forecast models to support in-season replenishment needs
  • Manage Planning & Allocations transfer calendar
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analytics
  • qualifications :

  • 2+ years retail experience in a related function (retail inventory, supply chain, planning)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain / logistics, or related field in analytics
  • Proven track record identifying and communicating business insights to cross functional partners and management
  • Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
  • Skilled knowledge of analytical tools and BI reporting (i.e. Excel, Access, data cubes), quick to learn new systems / applications
