The City of Penticton’s Bylaw Department is in search of highly motivated and energetic applicants to join our Bylaw Enforcement Officer Relief Pool.
The Bylaw Enforcement Officers assists in the day-to-day departmental operations, perform administrative functions, and are involved in the education and enforcement of the Municipal Bylaws.
The successful candidates will have considerable public contact, explaining bylaw violations, conducting detailed investigations and collecting of information and evidence from members of the public.
The position also deals with complaints of a highly sensitive nature and issues that impact operational policies and procedures, as well as all regular enforcement functions.
Required Qualifications :
Note : This position involves irregular hours and days of work, and may include weekends and evenings.
