What you will be doing as our Hybrid Account Executive :

  • Identify. Through market, industry and account research you will identify target prospects for our products and services.
  • Pursue. Through active email and call campaigns, making 50-70 calls per day, you will reach out to these prospects and secure meetings for our sales team.
  • Progress. By successfully generating leads for our sales team and managing on-going campaigns and sales opportunities, you will hone your sales skills and platform and services knowledge in order to progress into an outside sales role within 6-8 months.
  • Upon making that transition to outside sales, you will :

  • Develop. You will identify, progress, and close sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts across multiple industries. You will :
  • Solicit new accounts, build rapport, provide high-level finance and technical overviews and explanations
  • Create and evolve an individual business plan identifying the key criteria to achieve sales quotas
  • Develop relationships through phone, email, social media and professional networking
  • Nurture . You will maintain sales opportunities through a CRM system including follow-up, lead tracking, forecasting, and pipeline development. You will :
  • Gather and define business requirements by interacting with prospect stakeholdersRespond to and manage RFI, RFP, and RFQ requests from clientsSuccessfully achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales revenue targetsPlan and attend industry and partner events
  • Lead. You will lead sales engagements, based on territory assignment and contribute to proposal and Statement of Work generation
  • Travel. You will reinforce our belief in face-to-face relationship building, traveling up to 20% of the time to client sites across North America.
  • The Account Executive is on the front lines of helping organizations more effectively manage their financial planning and analysis processes.

    You will advocate Delbridge professional services to leading companies across multiple regions and promote the power of our consulting resources to help organizations become more productive, collaborative and strategic in their financial planning efforts.

    Your enthusiasm for the benefits of corporate performance management software platforms will enable you to quickly develop new leads into qualified sales opportunities.

    This role works closely with the Marketing Manager and reports to the Director of Sales. You will identify, establish, and manage prospective client relationships with the objective of winning new business and adding to our significant list of highly referenceable customers.

    What you will bring to the team and Delbridge Solutions :

  • Relationship building focus. You have excellent verbal and written communications skills to effectively communicate Delbridge's value proposition and interact effectively with prospective client contacts.
  • You are willing and able to travel across Canada and the US to work with our clients.

  • People management skills. You can handle and prioritize multiple tasks and flourish with minimal guidance, being proactive, and handling challenging situations.
  • Education. Candidates with university degrees in Finance and / or Business are preferred but not required. Finance and / or CPM experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Outreach or other sales engagement / sales automation software and Salesforce for lead and opportunity management is a plus.

    French competency is a bonus!

  • Experience. 3-5 years of professional business experience with a minimum of 3+ years in a new business development role (inside or outside sales) preferably in the software and / or IT professional services area.
  • Proven track record of being a top achiever
