Grant Thornton is seeking a Senior Manager / Director to join its Enterprise Technology Strategy (ETS) Solution Family and take an active role in service / solution line management, engagement execution, and key business development activities.
including, strategic drivers of Clients, Growth, Talent, Brand and Operations. IT Strategy services include all aspects of IT Strategy, Enterprise Architecture and Planning, IT Modernization and Cloud assessments, planning and management.
Create Go-To-Market solution offerings and methodologies for the Public Sector.
Cultivate a team of practitioners who can deliver solutions.
Establish, manage and maintain a healthy pipeline.
Lead branding efforts in the public sector market.
project scheduling, project financials, quality review and client management.
Meet or exceed sales targets for new and follow-on work.
Lead business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and other thought leadership materials.
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization)
Act as performance manager (coach) for coachees outside of engagement responsibilities.
BA / BS in a related field.
9+ years of professional experience.
Experience with IT Strategy, Enterprise Architecture and Planning, IT Modernization and Cloud assessments, planning, and management
Experience and expertise across on-prem and virtual infrastructure, technical and cloud architecture, business architecture, IT roadmapping, value stream analysis, business case and alternatives analysis
Experience developing analytics reports and dashboards to support and enhance strategic IT decision-making
Expert in explaining complex IT information simply and effectively to business-owners, in writing or verbally
Expert in presenting to leadership of large IT organizations
Personal brand in the IT Strategy space that is known in the public sector market
Up-to-date understanding of market trends and keen interest in following emerging technologies, management and costing trends
EA and IT Governance certifications / credentials a plus
Experience in public sector consulting, or equivalent
Proven track record of leading and delivering large and complex products and services.
Excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to quickly understand, simplify, internalize and communicate complex or technical concepts.
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
