Job Title : Receptionist
Location : Calgary, Alberta
Length of Assignment : Temporary to Permanent
Salary : $17+ hourly
Job Responsibilities :
Identify the needs of the caller and direct the call to the appropriate staff member in a timely manner.
Greet and acknowledge every staff member / visitor that enter and leave the office.
Identify problems in queues and individual extensions and bring them up with IT to resolve.
Ensure all visitors sign in and out and follow security procedures.
Handle outgoing and incoming couriers. Advise appropriate staff of registered mail packages. Order supplies as required.
Manage the ordering, distribution and monitoring of office supplies.
Update the company phone extension list and cell phone list.
Minimum 2 years experience in a Receptionist role.
Experience using a multi-line switchboard.
Comfortable in a fast pace environment, where multi-tasking is required.
Able and willing to work independently.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word).
Strong verbal and written communication skills
