Altima has a unique acquisition model that enables the company to create customized partnerships that meet the goals and needs of each individual owner.

Altima Dental is currently hiring a Director, Partnership Development in Alberta to support the organization’s growth through partnership acquisitions.

The role reports to the Vice President of Corporate Development and will also work closely with the executive team and other key functions of the business (i.

e. legal, finance, operations, marketing) to facilitate partnership growth.

This is a permanent full time opportunity working remotely from home but travelling regularly within the region.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Establish and maintain relationships with potential partners
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of partnership opportunities managing deal cycle from identification of potential partners, relationship development, discussing Altima’ value proposition, proposal development using a collaborative approach, and maintaining support through deal closure
  • Meet with dentists in-person to understand their partnership needs and discuss the Altima opportunity
  • Perform financial analysis of potential partnership clinics including preparation of P&L
  • Coordinate, attend, and represent Altima Dental at industry functions across the country (e.g. panel discussions, study groups, etc.
  • to foster key relationships with dentists

  • Track, measure and report on pipeline activities
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, science or other related field is required
  • 5+ years of experience in the dental industry, preferably working directly with doctors in a B2B full cycle sales role
  • Results oriented with a record of past success
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a proven ability to develop strong relationships
  • Well developed outreach and cold start skills
  • Support negotiation of terms and conditions of potential transactions
  • Excellent networking, collaboration, and influencing skills
  • Self-driven, capable of working independently and in a team setting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously.
  • Travel extensively, approximately 40% of the time.
