A career within our Cybersecurity Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients implement an effective cybersecurity program that protects against threats, propels transformation, and drives growth.

We play an integral role in helping our clients ensure they are protected by developing transformation strategies focused on security, efficiently integrate and manage new or existing technology systems to deliver continuous operational improvements and increase their cybersecurity investment, and detect, respond, and remediate threats.

KPMG is looking for a technical a technical writer to join our Cybersecurity team to help with the authoring, proofing and quality control of our technical reports, research articles, publications and presentations.

What you will do :

  • As a technical writer, specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
  • Independently manage all project-related documentation.
  • Assist with the authoring, proofing and quality control of project documentation, technical reports, research publications and presentations.
  • Review documentation and publications for grammar, syntax, and formatting.
  • Create and assist with the creation of draft word reports, excel worksheets, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions for additional documentation and research papers
  • Developing and reviewing cybersecurity communications deliverables and coordinating with senior consultants and clients to obtain necessary input data.
  • What you bring to the role :

  • 3+ years of technical writing experience developing cybersecurity communications deliverables including engineering documentation, plans, action reports, and meeting minutes for internal and external audiences.
  • Mastery of English grammar and syntax / fluid technical writing and editing skills.
  • Experience developing customer reports, industry related blogs, executive messages, advanced PPT presentations and infographics.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity communications language and subject matter..

  • Experience with creating technical documentation and executive leadership briefing material.
  • Ability to research and analyze complex technical material and break it down into concise, compelling copy that engages the reader.
  • Familiarity with a variety of internal and external communications vehicles, practices and technologies, including print, electronic, video and social media
