Department Summary :

The Enterprise Architecture, Emerging Technologies and Innovation department is part of Global Technology Services (GTS) group and is responsible for the definition and maintenance of application and technology roadmaps, principles and standards.

The group works with both technical and business stakeholders to identify the need for emerging technologies to deliver innovative solutions.

Role Summary :

  • The Enterprise Architect will be responsible to improve business efficiency by identifying change opportunities at the business and enterprise-level;
  • Understand the business's economic and financial levers to optimally support and guide technology investment decisions;
  • Develop the enterprise architecture roadmap that supports the business vision, strategies, and imperatives with the various partners;
  • Synthesize key ideas and recommendation, and effectively present across a spectrum of business and technical audiences;
  • Work collaboratively with solution architects, application designers, and product owners to define scalable solutions;
  • Understand, advocate and support enterprise technology, and digital strategies; monitors and analyzes the technology environment to see opportunities for improvements;
  • Participate in large projects as a team member, influencing the technology decisions to ensure the integrity of the overall IT architecture components;
  • Build strong relationship and rapport with business and technical resources across the organization;
  • Solid understanding of the industry and architecture frameworks;
  • Support the organization by extending architecture across legacy systems and emerging areas, including digital platforms, modern data architectures, integration architectures, cloud architectures;
  • Provide end to end technical leadership, within Enterprise Architecture standards and guidelines, to craft, develop, and test technology solutions;
  • Participate in strategic planning processes and guide business and technology capability roadmaps;
  • Develop / improve enterprise technology standards that address the needs of the organization, whilst aligning with industry-standard methodologies

  • maintain an up to date understanding of the newest technologies, standards, and tools in areas relevant to the constantly evolving digital ecosystem;
  • Ability to communicate sophisticated technical issues and multifaceted business challenges to various partners across the ecosystem

    Job Description :

    Support the organization by extending architecture across legacy systems and emerging areas, including digital platforms, modern data architectures, integration architectures, cloud architectures

    Provide end to end technical leadership, within Enterprise Architecture standards and guidelines, to design, develop and test technology solutions

    Participate in strategic planning processes and guide business and technology capability roadmaps

    Develop / enhance enterprise technology standards that addresses the needs of the organization, whilst complying with industry best practices

    maintain an up to date understanding of the latest technologies, standards, and tools in areas relevant to the rapidly changing digital ecosystem

    Ability to communicate complex technical issues and nuanced business challenges to various stakeholders across the ecosystem

    Skills and Experience :

    Minimum of at least 10 years working experience in the information technology sector

    Recent working experience in modernizing legacy or monolithic systems into microservices and / or event-driven architecture utilizing REST / API first approach and cloud-based deployments

    Recent working experience in Cloud Computing and Public Cloud Platforms e.g. Amazon ECS, Openshift

    Recent working experience in establishing a DevOps pipeline using infrastructure as a code for both onsite and Cloud deployments (AWS is preferred)

    Knowledge of monitoring and log aggregator tools

    Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and diverse organization

    Experience in capital or financial markets is an asset

    Nice to have :

    Experience in creating architecture views using industry-standard enterprise architecture frameworks

    TOGAF / Zachman or similar certification
