Our Ingram Micro Mississauga office is in hiring mode and searching for our next Sr. Professional, Transportation / Sr. Customs Professional.

  • Excellent knowledge of the Harmonized System of Classification, NAFTA and Customs Regulations
  • Manage the Partner’s in Protection (PIP) program
  • Communicate daily with Customs brokers, carriers as well as internal and external customers with regards to live shipments
  • Responsible for validating / maintaining NAFTA documentation and program
  • Conduct analysis on tariff database and make recommendations to Customs Manager
  • Liaise with appropriate government departments with regards to customs rulings and any post entry amendments (B2’s)
  • Create and maintain a duty drawback / refund program
  • Manage the discrepancy report for the Canadian operation
  • Prioritize and complete work according to project demands, customs requirements, business needs
  • Required to provide on-the-job training for new team members
  • Participate fully with other team members in the day-to-day operation of the team, including setting priorities, organizing and scheduling work, coordinating with others, problem solving and decision making, participating in meetings and handling projects
  • Education and Experience include :

    Minimum a College Diploma ideally in Customs and / or International TradeCCS Designation

  • 5+ years Customs experience
  • Good verbal communication skills and customer service experience
  • The ability to organize, prepare, and assemble documents or reports containing data from several sources.
  • Ability to develop relationships with internal and external customers
  • Demonstrated strong and interpersonal skills.
