Weldco Heavy Industries is a steel repair and fabrication facility located in the heart of Alberta’s oil sands. We are currently recruiting a Production Administrator, located at our facility in Fort MacKay, AB .
This position will report to the General Manager, and will be Monday- Friday, 8 hours / day. The role will appeal to an individual with purchasing experience within the heavy equipment and construction trades industry.

What you will do :
Create, maintain, issue and close work orders,
Organize purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders to vendors,
Update and ensure proper information within our ERP system,
Compile and acquire approval of all completed sales orders for month end,
Create a month end report that includes on-going work, completed projects and invoiced sales orders,
Maintain proper stock levels of select inventories,
Identify, develop, nurture, and establish new supplier relationships while maintaining relationships with existing suppliers,
Work with the Sales Department on research, quotations and communications as required both internally and with our customers,
Attend and contribute information during team meetings with regards to current / outstanding and / or weekly process,
Other tasks as required.
Your qualifications :
Post-secondary education in a related field is considered an asset.
Two Years of progressive industry experience
Proficient computer skills to utilize and maximize the capability of various software applications to enhance productivity,
Advanced working knowledge or Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Word,
Strong interpersonal skills to relate to all suppliers, customers and co-workers at all levels,
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to acquire cost effective purchasing,
Strong analytical skills to diagnose problems quickly, and strong problem-solving skills to resolve technical and non-technical problems methodically and logically.
