FirstOnSite Restoration has an opportunity for a Production Coordinator / Water Damage Coordinator in our Surrey branch !

Position Summary : The Production Coordinator / Water Damage Coordinator is responsible for coordinating Emergency scheduling activities that impact multiple projects all over the greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley simultaneously.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate the scheduling of FOS water damage staff devise plans of action and assess those plans regularly in conjunction with water damage managers to ensure jobs are completed on schedule
  • Provide Project Managers with a schedule and timeline for job completion
  • Stay in constant communication with FOS staff and clients; adjust schedules as required with information received from the field
  • Assign staff to job tasks based on skill set
  • Work closely with the water damage managers to ensure that the field staff have the tools and materials required to complete a task
  • Verify job information and access
  • Provide a work order and specification for all scheduled staff
  • Respond to Claimtrak and email communication in a timely manner
  • Approve timesheets and submit to payroll
  • Helping out with T&M documentation
  • Data entry as required
  • The Production Coordinator must be professional at all times in verbal and written communications
  • Qualifications :

  • College Diploma or certification; or a combination of relevant training courses in related fields and relevant experience may be acceptable in lieu of the academic requirements
  • Minimum of 3-year experience in Administrative or office environment
  • Experience in the insurance and / or restoration industry an asset
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work under stress
  • Problem solving
  • Able to schedule 20+ people on a daily basis
  • Ability to adapt to changes
  • Professional manners and communication through emails and phone
  • Responsibility in tracking customers keys and private information
  • Computer skills required in Word, Excel and Outlook
