Area Sales Manager - Industry, Central Region-004MOLArea Sales Manager - Industry, Central RegionMississauga or CambridgeReporting to the Central Region Senior Sales Director, the Industry Area Sales Manager is responsible for a team of technical sales representatives who drive growth of Schneider Electrics Industrial Control and Automation product portfolio through its EcoStruxure IOT platform.

Objectives : - Lead both a team of technical sales representatives and product specialists responsible for the growth of Industry products.

Improve focus and accountability on specialization around our industry offer and to have one strategy for central- The team will both improve strategic focus around segments (OEM, End User, System integrator and panel builder), while also support National Sales and Channel Partners in both loose components and as part of low voltage engineered product solutions.

  • Lead the supporting Inside Sales team who provide quotation & project management support primarily for the Industrial / OEM Sales Representatives within the Central Region-
  • Develop Business plan to maximize market penetration strategies to expand existing markets and open new markets.- Lead the commercial execution of the business plan.

    Formulate, communicate, implement and evaluate tactical sales plans which support business development and increase market share.

    Monitor outside and inside sales performance to ensure and united touch point for the customer.- Ensure the product specialist team will support End User, OEM, Channel, Consultant & Contractor Sales Representatives within the National Sales organization for Industry products both as components and in equipment.

  • Negotiate discrepancies between customer expectations and the organization. Support sales efforts for customer saturation and develop customer relationships for long-
  • term growth.- Train, coach and mentor the Sales, Business Development & Inside Sales team.- Escalate and resolve issues that impact customer satisfaction to the appropriate parties within the organization to ensure a quick resolution.


    Qualifications : - Bachelor Degree in Electric Engineering, Automation or equivalent proven technical expertise.- At least 7 years of technical and business experience in the electrical distribution and automation sector.
