Alaska Collection Banff Jasper Collection Glacier Park Collection This position provides local IT infrastructure support to Pursuit’s FlyOver Canada attraction in Vancouver, BC, and remote applications support to all Pursuit locations.

It is a permanent position, joining the FlyOver team based in Vancouver, reporting to the Manager, IT Infrastructure for FlyOver Canada.
Day to day support of local IT Infrastructure, such as laptops, desktop, printers and scanners. Day to day remote support of IT applications in all geographies Train and orient staff on use of hardware and software Monitor and respond to alarms.
Provide quality customer service for customer-reported information technology problems Independently log calls into help desk database, work through current items in help desk queue, and provide follow-
up and resolution of these issues, independently or with other Pursuit IT team members. Escalate to the manager, shared services teams, or vendors as necessary Test and deploy new software and upgrades to existing software Manage user and computer accounts with Active Directory Maintain a current laptop and desktop image collection and distribution scheme Flyover Canada Flyover Iceland With support from shared services, install, and maintain network, communication and server equipment Compile technical information applicable to current hardware and software configuration and create documentation for user training and reference Participate in after-hours on call rotation
The successful candidate must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities : Positive customer service and team attitude (helping others when required) Focus on quality, organization and continuous improvement In-
depth knowledge of Windows client operating systems and hardware Operational understanding of Active Directory Minimum 2 years IT support experience, or demonstrate equivalent competencies (desirable) Experience supporting desktop computing, point of sale systems, and applications specific to the attraction and hospitality industries.
i.e. : Retail Pro, RTP, Maestro and Micros (desirable) in a shared services environment (desirable) Experience with custom reporting using SQL (desireable) Information Technology degree, diploma or related education, or demonstrate equivalent competencies (desirable) Microsoft Certified Professional (desirable) A+ Certification processes (desirable) Primarily in an office setting, however, it may require limited travel for business support Able to manipulate equipment weighing up to 20kg As part of a small, multi-
