PositionTechnical Business AnalystDepartmentLocationMississaugaLegal EntityMUFG Fund Services (Canada) LimitedCore ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to work with a team of highly skilled developers, project managers and application owners to deliver complex internal system development projects across a number of existing and new applications within our portfolio.
Working with the Application Owner and Business SME’s you will assist with analyzing, understanding and capturing complex Business requirements and translating / documenting them for developers to work from.
This role offers challenges across a wide variety of projects which touch upon all the key areas of the Business.

Must have a detailed understanding of the application systems he / she is responsible for
A good understanding of business systems analysis
Document user procedures and support user training
Assist with Level 2 Support where required
Provide regular and effective progress updates to ensure the management of any delivery risks or issues
Participate in reviews and meetings and provide updates on project progress
Contributing to post implementation reviewsContribution to the definition of departmental and systems strategies and progression of any allocated objectives
Work on a wide range of projects involving the implementation of new and existing systems, solutions and processes
Work with product focused agile teams
Key Requirements Qualifications and Skills
3+ years experience of working as a Business Analyst
5+ years of IT experience preferably in a software development role
Demonstrated proficiency in documenting end-user requirements, procedures, and workflow / process mapping
Experience with process improvement initiatives
Agile and DevOps team experience
Strong interviewing and listening skills ability to facilitate information gathering sessions with SMEs, and ask probing questions to ensure completeness of end-to-end process captured
Demonstrated ability to support stakeholders in decision making, exchange ideas or reach an agreement regarding priorities.
Experience with complex data,data mapping, database queries and reporting
Excellent business writing - ability to clearly and concisely document large amounts of information and convey to several audiences
Experience of working with Atlassian JIRA
Familiarity of working with Java and .NET applications an asset
Project management experience ideal
Experience of working with AWS technologies will be an advantage
Self-motivated and able to work independently
