As a Cogeco Field Sales Representative working in conjunction with Cogeco’s Premier Vendor Partner, you will be responsible for the full cycle selling of our award winning Cogeco Connexion services.
This job is fast paced, fun and customer centric. It requires strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships using ethical and professional sales processes that we will teach the approved candidate.
This is a full cycle sales position where you will be helping potential customers build the perfect Internet, TV, and Home Phone package to suit their needs.
Your work will take place in residential areas, at pop up stores, and at community events. Compensation is very competitive for our top performers.
Responsible for prospecting customers, following up on leads, following up on product inquiries and selling Cogeco products.
Marketing COGECO products via In Home Sales Presentations, Event Marketing, and Mall Kiosks
Identify customer specific needs and customize the services for each individual client to drive sales and create great customer experiences
Daily tracking of sales for weekly reports submitted to management
Accurately process customer transactions such as orders and quotes
Attend team meetings for continued training and development of business skills
Manage time effectively and strive to exceed personal goals
Work effectively with other members of the team
Understanding of smart device technologies (phones, tablets, computers)
Comply with all ethical conduct and performance policies
Proven ability to easily build genuine connections with Cogeco customers
Previous sales experience would be preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Solid interpersonal skills and customer focus. As an ambassador of Cogeco, you must demonstrate a high level of professionalism (i.
e. demeanor, presentation) and a winning customer service attitude.
Interest in and appreciation for technology is an asset. You will learn how products work and how to translate complicated technical verbiage in to simple concepts for the average consumer.
Self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and resolve problems independently.
Coachable and open to change, maintaining a learning attitude towards work and to contribute to your team.
A valid Ontario Driver’s License is an asset but not required.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
Willingness to travel ocassionally where unique market opportunities are determined.
