Responsibilities :

  • Desktop device builds - basic device configuration and software installs (i.e. Windows and Office, etc.)
  • Physical desktop hardware deployments and / or moves - schedule and replace desktop device
  • Desktop software upgrades; primarily replacement of Windows and Office on identified devices using automated scripting
  • Assist with moving computing hardware and associated reconfigurations
  • Installation of new and used hardware units and components

  • Triage and problem investigation as required
  • Qualifications :

  • A Technical Diploma or University degree in Computer Science or related filed
  • A+ Certification
  • Experience working with Windows 7 and Office 2007 products. Experience with Windows 10 and Office 365 would be a definite asset
  • Experience with problem triage, strong trouble shooting skills
  • Experience with SCCM and PowerShell product would be an asset
  • Good customer service skills; able to work with non technical resources
  • Intermediate experience and skill set; 2-5 years experience with two or more of the above work activities
  • Knowledge of an incident and problem management tool such as Remedy
  • Experience supporting Office Suite of products
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A sense of urgency to complete tasks and assignments
  • Ability to take direction and follow practices and procedures consistently and accurately
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. regularly
