The individual will be preforming the role of a modification team leader (MTL) in support of the Refurbishment Islanding project.
This will include completing the following activities associated with modifications, in accordance with N-PROC-MP-0090 :
Project initiation, scope definition, modification planning, contracting strategy, detailed design , installation and commissioning planning, installation and commissioning, operations acceptance for AFS, TMOD removal and closeout.
Examples of potential work areas are as follows : containment leak rate testing, containment button up modifications, airlock restoration activities, bulkhead and associated isolations.
VVRS modifications, Unit 2 return to service pressure test, Unit 2 closeout activities, and commissioning of Unit 3 temporary containment boundary.
This role will require frequent interfaces with various stakeholder groups, including Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Contract Partners / Vendors.

Qualification as an OPG Modification Team Leader (MTL)

Familiar with Work management, Cost Control, Outage and IPG Scoping Process
Technical Background, Engineering Degree Mechanical, Electrical, Civil
Requires experience in the design, development and operations of a nuclear generation facility to plan and develop engineered solutions and to evaluate / verify components and materials.
Requires experience to become familiar with plant systems / processes involved in the design, construction, installation and commissioning associated with an industrial environment.
Requires experience in project management to effectively schedule events and control project scope
