Under the supervision of the Head of Information Systems, the incumbent receives and processes service calls from users of the STL's computer resources in order to provide them with the required support.
It ensures the proper functioning of the technological infrastructure.
Details of responsibilities :
Troubleshoots and offers first level technical support (simple problems) and second level technical support (complex problems ) for the equipment and software of the technological infrastructure;
Installs and maintains the components of the technological infrastructure with the assistance of the network administrator if required;
Ensures carrying out essential daily operations (backup, printing, management of disk space, cyclical work, etc.);
Ensures the proper functioning of servers, workstations and peripherals;
Ensures the proper functioning of the communication devices between the different sites;
Performs certain management tasks on the network and the servers;
Ensures documentation of solutions applied to different problems via a ticket system;
Maintains at update the computer inventory (equipment and software);
Ensures the administration of certain functions of the telephone system;
Is able to carry out a first level diagnosis in the event of problem with the telephone system;
Performs all other related tasks at the request of his immediate superior.
Having a minimum of 3 years of experience in information technology mainly in user support;
Hold a DEC in IT;
Thorough knowledge of the OFFICE 2016 office suite;
Appropriate knowledge of microcomputers;
Knowledge of Windows 7 as well as Windows Server 2008 and 2012;
Knowledge of VMware would be an asset;
Ability to quickly understand customer needs and take action to satisfy them;
Have a customer service approach with ut members;
Ability to manage time and priorities well;
Ability to work in a team.
