Role Impact :

This role will collaborate with Cadillac Fairview’s Key leaders in the Marketing department supporting marketing initiatives, programs and processes, Sr Director, National Operations, CF National Marketing, other internal departments, CF property teams, external consultants & contractors to :

  • Manage the delivery of various national marketing initiatives at CF properties;
  • Ensure projects are clearly defined, on schedule and within budget;
  • Protect the company’s contractual position by ensuring finished projects meets contracted obligations and standards.
  • The incumbent is accountable as required for leadership, client relationship and vendor management. Strong communication skills, sound judgment and follow-through will be critical for success in this role.

    The Project Delivery Manager will be required to develop the project scope of work, identify and engage stakeholders, identify and track costs, support the development of the business cases, create a project charter and schedule for the project, manage and track deliverables by others, manage user acceptance testing and transition, provide project close out and post mortems within the primary constraints of scope, time, quality and budget following the prescribed methodology for :

  • This role directly reports to the Sr Project Manager National Operations who will provide mentorship on projects and leadership of CF National Operations project management practices.

    This role also directly interfaces with the Marketing leadership team by supporting marketing initiatives, programs and processes relating to the projects assigned to the Project Delivery Manager.

    What You Will Deliver :

  • Work with the Senior Marketing team to define project scope, cost, schedule prioritization and deliver marketing projects according to CF National Marketing needs and techniques.
  • Be responsible for the project management on multiple, simultaneous marketing projects / initiatives with internal stakeholders, vendors and other project resources;
  • Development and management of Project RACI;
  • Manage, track and report deliverables for CF National Marketing projects from Assessment to Design including : Assessment & definition of project needs, constraints, stakeholders, scope and critical success factors;
  • Request For Proposal activities (as required);Business case development support with defined costs, clear explanations of the business rationale, expected benefits including defined and measurable performance targets to determine success;
  • Managing project phase deliverables in line with the project plan and RACI;Facilitating and reporting project meeting minutes;
  • Manage, track and report deliverables for CF National Marketing projects from Execution to Close including : Contract execution with 3rd parties including verification of vendor accreditations and insurance prior to work commencement;
  • Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan;Managing project scope, deliverables change control and escalation of issues where necessary in line with the project plan and RACI;
  • Facilitating and reporting project meeting minutes in partnership with external vendor and internal CF project managers (such as IT);
  • Managing and tracking invoices and cost;Managing deliverables associated with User Acceptance Testing and deficiency correction;
  • Managing co-ordination of partners and stakeholders including alignment of project schedule with complementary time-sensitive events;
  • Facilitating post mortem meetings as required and publish results;Reviewing lessons learned to refine project plans for recurring initiatives;
  • Ensuring project documentation is complete, current and stored appropriately;
  • Work with the Senior Marketing team to define, cost and deliver the ongoing support structure as required to implement marketing projects or initiatives.
  • Provide weekly status reports to the Sr Project Manager and others as define in the project charter(s).

  • What You'll Need To Succeed :

  • Post-secondary education in related field combined with relevant experience;
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant and progressive experience in project and program management work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant and progressive experience in construction / design
  • Good understanding of commercial, mechanical and electrical systems
  • Knowledge of reporting on hard and soft costs relating to : construction, architect / consultant fees, permit fees, inspection and testing, and cleaning, security and other related recharges related to the project(s).
  • Ability to fully interpret drawings, specifications, and local / national building codes.
  • Demonstrated experience in project and change management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • An interest in event production (e.g. audio / video communications, sponsorship integration, customer relationship management)
  • Report writing skills and proven ability to communicate and present to all levels of management
  • Project Management certification (PMP) is an asset;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player with strong customer service orientation
  • High computer literacy. Excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Pro, Google Docs, Microsoft Project.
  • Understanding and proficiency of CAD.
