Job Description

CalMedi Home Care & Medical Supplies has been in business for over 13 years. The business has been successful because of excellent staff and customer service.

We have two store to operate from. The primary location for candidate to work from is NW. The candidate may be required to work at our NE store periodically or as needs basis.

Currently, we face with extraordinary challenge and circumstances. We believe that with the aid of right staff we will overcome the pressures and challenges we are about to face.

We expect the new hire to have a very pleasant and cheerful personality. In addition, have innovative ideas, be creative, willing to work hard, have new ideas and respond to the challenges with positive outlook, attitude and proven to success skills.

The position is part-time to begin with. However with the new candidates contribution and improving times, the position may become full time.

Opening and closing the storeIs dependable, organised, self-motivated with good time management skills and ability to prioritize workExhibits consistent problem solving ability as well as sound judgment and attention to detailsIdentifies and communicates (as a team member) suggestions for improvements in all areas of businessIdentify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

Use feedback to modify and develop alternative solutions and be prepared to make decisionsUse all tools availabe to complete daily tasks without missing critical deadlines and store action items.

Maintain or improve our reminder system to impement dependable start to finish of tasks system.Delivering on personal and stores sales targetsAssisting customers with purchasesAnswering questions about the performance and technical aspects of our productsExemplifying a 'Customer First' mindset.

Takes opportunities for add-on sales to customerAnswers telephones and emails, logs and qualifies and directs customers as required.

Responsible to take and make orders accurately.Maintains loss prevention and privacy standards by completing appropriate paperwork when presented with refunds or exchanges for data products.

Stocks and maintains front-end racks / shelves and merchandise areas as assigned.Maintain good documentation & filing system and an organised supplies inventoryMonitors stock levels of front end paper, supplies, register rolls, shopping bags, maintains general cleanliness of all workstations, lunchroom and washrooms as assigned, according to company standards.

  • Checks and respond appropriately all sources of communication for information (emails, portal, etc).The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations Computer proficiency;
  • Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is a mustMust have good references.As per policy, required to have personal parcels (bags, totes, backpacks, purses, etc.

    checked by a manager prior to leaving the store premises.
