Responsible for establishing and maintaining a Preventive Maintenance program that includes scheduled maintenance activities for key processes machines and equipment.
Oversees set-up of machines for production.
Education / Experience :
Completion of a Manufacturing / Industrial / Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent Minimum 10+ years of process management with injection molding Prior experience in plastic manufacturing required Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Valid Driver’s License
Requirements / Responsibilities :
Understand the importance and impact of the quality policy while performing any / all aspects of the Process Manager designated duties including but not limited to the following :
Manage the scheduled preventive maintenance activities to ensure continuing capability of machines and equipment Works with production and quality control to plan and modify process activities to support customer requirements Implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials Responsible for participating in the development of new injection blow molding tools and processes, and improvements to existing processes and tooling Supervise setting-up of machines for production as per daily production schedule as well as performing mold and / or material changes as dictated by the schedule Performing process troubleshooting, part inspections and various other functions to insure part conformity and quality Use good manufacturing practices to maintain hygienic security while working at a machine or within the facility and demonstrate good housekeeping practices Perform all other duties as required
