Responsibilities

  • Participating in testing of the various software components.
  • Writing scripts, test utilities, data analysis and other software testing tools
  • Supporting the product verification and design teams.
  • Working in a lab environment connecting nodes, test sets, executing test scripts and manual test cases.
  • Working closely with HW designers, SW designers and systems architects
  • Analyzing data collected by the scripts and generating reports.
  • Required Skills

  • Scripting or other software development in languages like TCL, Expect, Python, Perl, Shell script, JAVA Script, HTML, C / C++ and JAVA etc
  • Exposure to Linux as a development platform and / or embedded target OS
  • Ability to learn and apply new concepts and technologies quickly
  • Excellent planning, organization and communication skills
  • Ability to work well both independently and within a team
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, problem solver
  • Collaboration with stakeholders

  • Product and system architects to understand requirements and desired behaviours
  • Design team members to review design and understand testing strategies required.
  • Integration team to review designer test results, develop and review test plans and results
  • Verification team - to review test plans and share integration results and findings

  • Experience

  • College diploma in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 1+ years related experience (see Required Skills section)
