Summary of Responsibilities :
Bothexperience and the technical knowledge and skills are applied to your trade inthe maintenance of mechanical systems within a heritage building. Dutiesinclude :
Steamand Hydronic heating systems
Operatingknowledge of building automation systems
Ableto communicate effectively and professionally with both guests and colleagues
Experience working with boilers, hot water tanks, compressors and pneumatic systems and back flow preventors
Must have experience servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and installing water heaters, tubs, toilets, sinks, faucets, showers, various valves, pipes, drains, water softeners, etc.
Respondto requests in a timely manner, and assist in achieving the Departmental andHotel goals. These duties are representative and do not encompass the fullrange of performance expectations.
Read and interpret drawings / schematics and specifications as required
Journeyman certification Alberta and / or Inter-provincial Red Seal
Alberta Gas Ticket
Class 5 drivers license with clean record (abstract must be provided upon acceptance)
Water Treatment Plant operation experience is an asset
Class 4 or 5 power engineering ticket an asset
This full time position is physically demanding in a high paced and challenging environment.
