Job Description

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Finishing Operator is responsible for assisting in the conversion of raw materials to finished goods.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following :

  • Setup and cleanup of machinery / work area accurately in accordance with proper set-up techniquesBundling, pre-folding, stitching, taping and gluing Inspecting orders to verify special instructions and routing ensure quantities, sizing, printing etc.
  • Matching work orders to specificationsMonitor inventory of supplies for machinery (tape, glue, stitching wire, strapping)Ensure finished boxes are properly bundled and stacked for unitizing and / or palletizingMaximize equipment utilization by operating machinery at available capacity and speedComplete necessary reports in an accurate and timely mannerTurn in maintenance orders to supervisor for repairsComply with all Company policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with set policies and procedures within I.

    S.O. Additional duties related to or not related to this job classification as assigned by supervisor

    Qualifications :

  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety Rules and Regulations; Ability to prioritize many tasks and execute results, which will promote customer satisfaction;
  • Ability to deal with conflict, stress and time constraints in an efficient, professional, courteous manner;Understanding of ISO.
