What will your typical day look like?

We are looking for an individual to lead the management of risk and contracts for our operate / managed services engagements and to manage the lifecycle of contracts for operate / managed services that contain elements of risk that needs to be monitored and managed to minimize risk exposure.

Primary responsibilities will be to manage complex the life cycle of contracts, the review of request for proposals and contractual documents to make an assessment on risk and to mitigate the risk through contractual negotiations and / or establishing risk mitigation strategies, and to manage a team that will assist with operate / managed services contracts.

About the team

The role will be supporting our Operate business within Deloitte and sits within the Service Excellence team that supports practitioners on all their deal services needs.

We currently have a team of 22 people and expanding.

  • Proficient in handling legal terms and conditions and managing risk as it relates to operate / managed services
  • Can handle managing complex operate / managed services contracts
  • Confident in communicating and articulating positions on operate / managed services contracts
  • Able to build strong relationships and confidence
  • Ability to multitask and managing conflicting priorities
