The US Corporate Tax practice in Calgary office is looking for a Manager to join our growing practice. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills, work with new clients and industries, expand your internal and external networks and be a key member in the growth of our practice.

We’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who believes relationships in both business and community have been central to their success to date to join our growing practice and continue to build their personal brand as a significant trusted business advisor in our community.

What you will do :

We will be looking to you to help grow our US Tax practice and to play a leading role in its long term success. As a Manager you will work with Partners researching and advising KPMG Clients on planning opportunities, tax minimization strategies, and compliance issues.

You will take the lead on Client Engagements and will be responsible for planning and organizing teams conducting and presenting tax research.

As part of those engagements you will provide ongoing support and mentoring for the professional development of staff including reviewing their work for accuracy and completeness.

What you bring to the role :

You have developed your knowledge and expertise of the US Tax market during your time with public accounting firms. You possess excellent client service skills and have an aptitude to understand the clients' business and to develop and maintain strong client relationships.

Your ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities is derived from your dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service.

We see great value in your belief in providing others with opportunities to take on new challenges and responsibilities.

You have 5 years of experience in US Tax, obtained a Professional Accounting Designation and are enrolled in or near the completion of the US Masters of Taxation, CPA Canada’s In-

Depth Tax program would be an asset.
