Here’s the type of person we’re looking for : The Associate Shop Manager’s primary function is to manage all aspects of the shop, including all personnel, product, merchandising functions, business processes and results for the shop, along with the ability to manage the Shop as the Manager on duty in the absence of the Shop Manager.
The Associate Shop Manager leads by example in providing exceptional customer service and demonstrating brand selling skills in order to maximize sales and optimize the customer experience in the shop.
Responsibilities Delivers a high level of communication with staff on a daily basis, ensuring flow of information in shop Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills with both internal and external partners Effectively manages customer’s complaints in a timely and effective manner Understands product needs and educates team on how to evaluate report information Ensures daily management of sales, payroll, controllable expenses, goals and company initiatives Aligns team with activities that will ensure that business goals are met Actively trains, coaches and provides feedback to management team and associates Assists Shop Manager with on-
going learning and development plans for management team Consistently Networks, recruits and hires associates with bench strength Align all Shop activities to ensure all business goals are met Takes on additional assignments and work when needed Experience and Background Experience as an Associate Shop Manager, an asset High school diploma post-
secondary education in business or related discipline, an asset 3-5 years’ experience as an acting member of management, retail preferred Self-
driven, results-oriented with a clear business focus Creates energy, excitement and recognition around team and individual accomplishment and successes
