The CCO reports directly to the Project Co Representative / CEO.
Serve as the point of contact with the Construction Contractor and Maintenance and Rehabilitation commercial team.
Manage commercial issues related to Construction Contractor and Maintenance and Rehabilitation contract and lead negotiations with the Construction Contractor and Maintenance and Rehabilitation contractors.
Ensure cooperation between the Construction Contractor and Maintenance and Rehabilitation contractors and chair with the Project Co Representative the interface committee.
Lead with the Construction Contractor requests for modifications, claims and litigation, if necessary.
Lead the Variation process with the Construction Contractor.
Coordinate and oversee all activities related to communications in coordination with the Communications team.
Participate in the design consultation process representing Project Co.
Chair with the Project Co Representative the Project Company Board of Director meetings.
Attend meetings with the Client and update the Project Co team on progress and discuss any issues when required.
Select Project Co’s advisors in coordination with the Project Co Representative and CFO.
Manage in coordination with the CFO the lender’s technical advisor.
Represent Project Co when requested by Project Co’s Representative.
Prepare the strategy for meetings with the Client.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS :
8 years of experience in P3 / AFP projects
Good knowledge of Infrastructure Ontario’s project agreement for P3 / AFP.
Specific P3 / APF LRT experience in Ontario, knowledge of the contractual framework and risk-sharing mechanism in LRT projects in Ontario.
Understanding of project delivery (transportation project experience) acquired through P3 bids.
Experience negotiating Construction, O&M and Interface agreements from a developer perspective.
Experience coordinating developer and lenders’ advisors such LTA and LIA.
Experience in financial close of RFPs in Ontario, specifically LRT projects.
