    Job Scope

  • Creation of flexibilityand capability with focus on zero losses and 100% engagement
  • Responsible for capitalinvestment initiatives and as such for achieving the plants Compelling BusinessNeed (CBN) including safety, service, cash flow, productivity and growthtargets.
  • Deliver equipmentdesigns according to Integrated Lean 6 Sigma (IL6S) and Innovation InitiativeManagement(IIM) requirements.
  • Accountable for managingmid scale capital investment projects with primary focus on electrical andcontrol systems ($100k - $1M CAD)
  • The primary responsibilities ofthe position :

  • Provides Integrated SupplyChain (ISC) feasibility perspectives linked with the specific project scope.Identifies the capital and capital related expenses, optimum layout, equipmentand phasing over time to meet the project scope objectives.
  • Manages communicationsinterface and project governance within ISC and key stakeholders
  • Leads a cross functionalproject team at plant level
  • Ensures successful execution ofthe projects in accordance with IL6S by leveraging IIM principles
  • Identifies cost effective, highsavings productivity solutions and develops project in order to improveperformance, product quality, safety and sustainability, yield andmanufacturing cycle times
  • Fulfil requirements for :
  • Design phase (e.g. Cost estimates, Risk analysis, design FailureMode Effects Analysis)
  • Implementation phase (e.g. FAT, SAT)
  • Start-up (e.g. Commissioning, Qualification and Verification (CQV)planning, Vertical Start-up (VSU) assessments) and successfully handover to theplant
  • While delivers assigned Capexprojects, also be a resource site engineering team to review and approveElectrical and Controls System solution involved in other Capex projects of theplant.
  • Ensures new or upgraded Electrical and Controls system together with integratedCritical Control Network(CCN), brought in by Capex projects, will comply toMondelez standards, as well as local regulation and code.

  • Acts as site SustainabilityLead, supports Mondelēz regional sustainability initiatives. Works with siteHealth Safety Environment (HSE) team and Maintenance team to Identify, developand drive Sustainability projects in the plant to reduce CO2 and supportMondelēz Sustainability Goals.
  • Acts as site engineeringcontact, supports Mondelēz regional capital electrical programs.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree (4years) required in related field
  • Engineering OntarioLicense preferred
  • University Degree inElectrical and Controls Engineering preferred
  • Minimum 3 years ofexperience in Engineering experience preferred in food industry
  • Minimum 3 years ofexperience in Project Management
  • Minimum 3 years ofexperience in Power distribution and Electrical safety
  • Minimum 3 years ofexperience in VFD’s, Servo’s and motion control system
  • Minimum 3 years ofexperience in PLC / HMI, control system network, instrumentation and automation
  • Minimum 2 years ofexperience in Knowledge of Integrated Lean 6 Sigma
  • Minimum 2 years ofexperience in ISC relevant experience
  • Minimum 2 years ofexperience in Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point,AutoCAD
  • Knowledgeable about LOCK OUT and TAG OUT procedure and practices.
  • Knowledgeable about Sanitary Design procedure and practices.
  • Familiar with OHSA regarding safety practices and non-routine workpermits.
  • Familiar with updated CSA Electrical Code, and Ontario Electrical SafetyCode.
  • Have knowledge andunderstand equipment ranking; breakdown analysis, RCA tool; GE loss Tree;maintenance losses, spares turnover; PM Systems.
  • Possesses excellentorganizational agility; quickly identifies and able to prioritize to reduce oreliminate plant downtime, constantly works to achieve results.
