Brief Job Description :

This position will require working with different health care professionals across different organizations to coordinate a post-

concussion research network (University of Ottawa, CHEO, TOH).

  • The main tasks will entail;
  • Preparation of grant applications, writing and editing of manuscripts
  • Data management of various small projects directly related to post concussion
  • Some patient contact for consent processes
  • Liaise with collaborators at different sites
  • Administrative duties related to post concussion projects as required such as organization of meetings, agendas etc.
  • Basic Requirements (Education / Experience) :

  • Undergraduate degree in a health-related field
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (ability to work independently and with a research team; ability to interact respectfully with patients and community representatives)
  • Excellent ability to multi-task
  • Very good knowledge of SPSS, Microsoft Suite,
  • Very good organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Very good ability to express ideas verbally and in writing
  • Very good writing skills (sample requested)
  • Evidence of training certification in Tri-Council Policy Statement -2 (TCPS-2) and the International Conference on Harmonisation Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP)
  • Evidence of training in Food and Drug Regulations, Division 5, and / or Device Regulations, as applicable
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Good knowledge of hospital (TOH) and University of Ottawa research processes
  • Knowledge of French is an asset
  • Benefits and Opportunities :

    This is a 1year, full-time contract with the possibility of renewal.

    Salary Range $26.741 / hr. (min) to $ 36.275 / hr. (max)
